May and June hot day and night temperatures hurt lettuce and tomato production in Belize

* The tomatos are few and far between and are being picked green and are ragged and small looking.

* They didn't look good like this. Lettuce were barely growing, with a lot of brown burnt leaves.

May and June were very bad months for lettuce and tomatoes in Belize. I guess it is the high temperatures during the days sometimes and the high temperature at night? Without a temperature differential between night and daytime, some vegetables do very poorly.
