CONSTITUTION CHANGE IN BELIZE PROPOSED TO ALLOW DUAL NATIONALS TO RUN FOR ELECTED OFFICE

A new law to amend the Constitution, so that people of dual nationality is being instigated by the UDP government in Belize.
The reasons why are fairly obvious. Most of the popularly elected UDP area representatives, do not have either an education, or exposure to world travel and a cosmopolitan outlook and experiences. Trying to run the BARROW government is fraught with a bunch of people with insufficient experience to fill Cabinet posts.
One notices by Caribbean News on Channel 5, this seems to be a CARICOM thingy over in the Eastern Caribbean and BARROW is just following the Eastern Caribbean CARICOM trend.
