French Canadian ( 58 years old )sees the world via motorcycle, explores Belize

58 year old French Canadian, Denis Moreau, living in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, leaves wife sitting at home, while he fulfills youthful dreams to see the world by motorcycle. Currently visiting Falconview Backpackers Adventure Hostel, in Santa Elena, Western Belize. Yesterday he rode to TIKAL across the border in Guatemala and visited that ancient Mayan metropolis. He said he was enchanted. Already he has explored most of Mexico and is now in Belize, working his way south to Tierra del Fuego. From there he plans to do South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, then a part of Africa, then Eastern Europe, Western Europe and back home to Edmonton, Canada. The wife he said, doesn't want to travel and doesn't want to retire from her nursing job. So if he is going to do it, he indeed better do it now before it is too late. Though at 58 years old, I think he is leaving it a bit late in life.
Falconview Backpackers Adventure Hostel is picking up the occasional motorcycle traveling backpacker crowd as they pass through exploring Central America.
